Cathodic Electrodeposition plant:

Cathodic Electro deposition paint provides significantly improved corrosion resistance, better throw power, high film resistivety & better bath stability. In order to achieve these benefits, a CED Plant is being set up. The plant is likely to be commissioned by Dec’07.

Robotic Welding Machine:

One more Robotic Welding Machine is being procured ex import. The machine would be available for use by end November’07.

Plant up gradation initiatives:

Additional Presses and other equipment are being added up and old machineries are being phased out.

a) New equipment Procured

• One Milling Machine and Two Surface Grinding Machines procured in Oct’07.

• One Hydraulic Shearing Machine in October’07

b) New equipment Under Procurement

• 2 Presses – One 160 Tons, One 200T

• 3 Presses of 16 Tons

• 1 Press of 10 Tons with load cell arrangement
